INDEPENDENCE DAY 2008

15-08-08      -       DPIRS celebrated the 62nd Independence Day with full  enthusiasm and vigour.  Rev. Dr Jose Aikara ,the  Principal  hoisted the Tri colour Flag  accompanied  by  Rev. Fr. Johny, Rev. Fr Shalby and Mr. Sunny Francis , The Dean of Studies.  Rev. Dr Jose Aikara gave  a message emphasizing on the importance of  the Day  and advised the students to be good citizens and to work for the country. There were some colourful performances and patriotic songs  by the students.

 
DE PAUL INTERACTORS INSTALLED

18-08-2008: DPIRS  installed  its Interactive office bearers at a simple ceremony. Rtn. Sanjay Shyamanur, President of Rotary  Mysore Midtown Installed the president of Interact Club and other Office bearers. Rev. Dr Jose Aikara, Principal, Mr. Sunny francis, Academic Dean and  other rotarians were present during the ceremony.

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2008

05-06-08      -       DPIRS celebrated the World Environment  Day with full  enthusiasm and vigour.  Rev. Dr Jose Aikara ,the  Principal  inaugurated the planting of saplings in the school campus accompanied  by  Mr. Sunny Francis , The Dean of Studies.  Rev. Dr Jose Aikara gave  a message emphasizing on the importance of  the Day  to check Global Warming. The Students and Teachers  of the school also planted  saplings in the school campus and promised  that they would save the Earth from Global Warming and Environmental Pollution.

 

INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2008

27-06-2008: The Investiture  Ceremony 2008-2009 was conducted in a very special way with full charm and enthusiasm. Mr  J.V. Gaonkar, IPS ,Inspecter General of Police, Mysore, was the Chief Guest of the Day and Rev. Dr Jose Aikara C.M.( Principal), Rev. Fr. Shalbi C.M. (Barsar) were the Guests of the Day. Mr. Sunny Francis, the Dean of  Studies administrated the Oath of Office. The Office Bearers were invested by Mr J.V. Gaonkar.  The Chief Guest,  while addressing the gathering, stressed on the role of  discipline  in one's life to develop his/her  personality. The Head Boy, Master Kenrick Rueben, proposed the Vote of Thanks. The National Anthem masked the end of the ceremony.
