Opportunities
are not something that one waits for or something that is
granted, rather they are something consciously created
or taken. Success is not a game of chance, rather it is the result of
careful creation of opportunities and conscious translation
of them into life situations through selected challenges. The
risks or challenges that one takes must be carefully selected to
suit for his/her attitude and aptitude. To know one’s attitude
and aptitude is nothing but self discovery. The
success of one’s activity and the life itself depends very
much on this self discovery. In the field of education
we always speak about the whole round development
of the children.If do point out to this self discovery of one’s inborn
and acquirable qualities and abilities. One can be successful only in
these fields. Being conscious of these facts De Paul International
Residential School, Mysore is fully committed in accompanying with
each student very closely and dearly in his /her efforts in the
self discovery and consequent conscious translation of them

PRINCIPAL
The
Founder
Principal of DE PAUL INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL, Rev. Dr.
Jose Aikara CM is a versatile scholar and
gifted leader. He is a fountain spring of inspiration to the students
& staff alike. He is an epitome of hard work and commitment. Given
to his caliber, wealth of experience and vision, no doubt, the young
ones left to his care would be transformed into sparkling personalities.
HIS
PREVIOUS ACHIEVEMENTS
He
Was the Founder Principal of DE PAUL SCHOOL, Berhampur, Orissa,
and served the institution for 13 years. His endless efforts made the
school as one of the biggest schools in and around Orissa.
He
received a National Award for his contribution to the field of Education
from P.T.A of India on 13th December, 1998.
The award was conferred on him by Prof. Yash Pal, the well
known Scientist and Educationalist, at a special meeting held at Constitution
Club, New Delhi.
He
was elected two times as
the Secretary- Cum- Treasurer of the Association of All
Orissa I.C.S.E Schools and worked about 6 years. He introduced
many activities like Talent Search Examination, Scholarships and
the most exiting QUIZANA, an All Orissa Inter School Quiz Competition
and State Level Model Examination for the students of Std-X and XII.
He
was unanimously elected to the office of The
President of All India Association of I.C.S.E Schools
in the year 1998 and inaugurated
and chaired the Annual conferences held in Hyderabad, in
1999 .
He
is the National Secretary-Treasurer of The Association
of All India ICSE and ISC schools (ASISC).
It is pleasure to say that He was re elected for the same in the
year 2009 for another two years unanimously.
He
is also one of the Council Members of the I.C.S.E Board, New Delhi
and standing committee member of ICSE and ISC examinations and the
member of the
finance committee of the council.
Recently
Rev. Dr Jose Aikara, Principal, DPIRS Received National Award on 13-12-2009
for his distinguished services in the field education for the year 2007-08
by ISFI (Independent Schools Federation of India). Mr. Kapil Sibal, the Union Minister of Human Resource
Development, Government of India gave away the award. |
