World Environment Day
"Conservation is a state of harmony between men and land".
Students @ De Paul International Residential School observed the "World Environment Day". The theme observing the importance of the day was "Beat Plastic Pollution". Various activities such as quiz competition, coloring activity, planting saplings etc., were organized. The representatives of the management, teaching staff, student council and the supporting staff planted saplings in the premises of school campus. Rev. Fr. Aneesh Mathew, The Principal of DPIRS inspired the students to work collectively for the protection of Earth and emphasized on the need to build a greener world. In his speech, he added that the objective of celebrating Environment Day was to make younger generation more sensitive towards environmental protection.
